Luka might be the best player in the league.

I am writing this after watching a good majority of the games today including the Lakers and felt the need to get this off... While doing it i'm going to make it a small series on players around the league.

I know Austin and Lebron didn't play, so this obviously isn't a finished product to whatever that standard is meant to be with the 2026 Lakers...

But i've seen Luka's numbers/games this year and semi looked at them like a player on a lottery team getting whatever shots they want and putting up empty stats.

It was really only until today, with the only other 2 capable players out (haha) I saw the genuine level Luka is at. This is the best i've ever seen him look in all facets of his game.

That includes the 3 ball, IDC the percentage is down... Luka doesn't get clean looks on this team, his 3 balls are all with a guy stuck on his hip... Fading or from 10 feet beyond the 3 point line

At around halftime Luka had scored or assisted 90% of all of the Lakers buckets and it looked every bit of that.

This Lakers team is awful... La Ravia fine, Smart eh, Ayton a bench big on a true contending team.

It gives me flashes of the Nuggets in years where the Net rating without Jokic becomes the worst in the league.

As for his usage, he somehow needs the ball even more lmao. I know this is different with Austin and Lebron in.

But it really has shown just how good Doncic is atm and how bad the Lakers actually are. This is a true Big 3... 3 big players and absolutely nothing else

They need to make some serious changes because if the way Doncic played today, had any form of actual help around him... He would be getting talked about just like Joker and Shai...

He could've had maybe 23 assists today if it wasn't Vando, Knecht and Smart catching those passes.
