Oh boyyy, On paper this is a true contender. They have developed a strong central young core and made what I think is the perfect additions around it. I can't see how it doesn't translate to on the court. This is the team i'm most excited to watch outside of my own.

Might be a hot take, but fit wise this is the best team Durant has been on... If Durant is legit just Durant this could be beautiful. Elite, long and athletic defenders/players and an aggressive centre who can handle the ball/ create for himself... I see it creating a lot of space for KD.

The FVV injury is brutal as I think with him if you argued they are the favourite I wouldn't be mad. But it could mean a forced step up for their young core.

I think the key for this team to be special is that exact leap from Amen/Sengun, Sengun is already there IMO but Amen is the key. Not to mention Jabari and Eason still have room to elevate.

Player to watch is clearly Amen Thompson (All star/ MIP) I like the rumblings of him at PG as defensively that line up is terrifying and I think even if he's shaky to start, the size and firepower with Sengun and Durant is more then enough.

Overall rating is a 9.1 (Warriors Rockets series would go crazy)
