The NBA is set to announce the creation of a new league in Europe to compete with the Euroleague

Yesterday March 26th, the NBA sent a press release to the media, in which they announced a press conference hosted by Adam Silver at 2:30p.m. ET .The Commissioner expected to announce a new European league in association with FIBA. According to various reports, the competition would be a semi-open league format that would include between 8 and 10 teams.

Some of the teams whose contract with Euroleague ends in the 2026/27 season and may join the competition are: Crvena Zvezda(Belgrade Red Star),Alba Berlin and Partizan Mozzart. Another team that is also being talked about that could change its competition is Real Madrid.
