A Few Things To Address

I want to get a few things off to let y'all know what is going on, and I want to start first and confirm that Bdawg has indeed left the site. Whether temporarily or permanently is unclear, but don't expect him to come back and start posting like tomorrow or next week. Work and overall life stuff appears to have gotten in the way.

Secondly, this appears to not have been noticeable but want to address it before someone tries to "fix an issue" but I am no longer a s/topshot mod. I wasn't kicked or there was a glitch and was removed or anything, I asked to be removed and that person went ahead and removed me. There are a few reasons why I didn't feel comfortable as the moderator on that space and the main thing is that I bring no value to the space. I don't post much, if at all, on that space and don't comment a whole lot on that space's posts anyways cause I don't keep up a whole lot on baseball or soccer like the others do so I didn't see a purpose in running that side. Another reason is because I didn't feel like how I got it was deserving. I think everyone knows how it became, I was going back and forth about moderation and then the mod used me as the wall why they can't go straight and Kawntent (who I have much respect and appreciation for) saw the comment thread and gave me mod. Even then I knew I didn't deserve it and told him that, but I kept it and didn't really say anything about it until I asked someone to remove me Sunday.

Another reason I have is that I never wanted to be in charge of a space, I never had a reason to go "oh, I need to do this." I always saw myself as one of the users on this site and not this guy monitoring the site. For the record, I still want active moderation on s/general but I have never seen myself being the person moderating the site, and that is why I am willing to speak more freely publicly about it cause I have nothing to lose for it. I'm not trying to start anything, this is all besides the point but for the record I have been adamant that I didn't want to be a mod so much so that I made a bet that if the site was updated before the draft that I would be s/general mod on the NFL side, making that bet knowing that it won't happen so I don't become a mod. But, all in all, I am still mod and will still remain mod on a different part of the site in s/pickem. I didn't initially wanted to until FijianThunder gave it to me and now I see PickEm as an exception solely because there is a different purpose to it besides deleting bot posts and whatnot, PickEm is an interactive game inside of the community that gives the users a chance to predict the outcome of the game and some prop bets without putting money on the line and instead put bragging rights on the line. I really enjoy taking care of the space and am looking forward to the 2026-2027 season as I do anticipate this season to be the best yet in Pick Em!

That is all I wanted to share at the moment, just wanted everyone to know
