The trae saga

With the recent reports about conflict between trade and hawks coach mcmillan,there's a real possibility he's moved and they build around dejounte plus the return they get for trae(bound to be ridiculous). That said there are very few teams which can offer a haul hawks would like while also allowing them to continue competing. Some unlikely but possible exceptions here might be raptors or heat who might possibly move siakam or butler in a trae deal.

The east juggernauts

The bucks and Celts were always meant to be juggernauts but with nets too looking phenomenal,there's a legitimate possibility that the east have the top 3 teams in the league and that coupled with Philly (who i still believe are gonna be a top 5 team come playoffs) cavs being in the east seems to signal a drastic turning of tide in terms of the league's balance shifting towards the east(considering the ages of bunch of the non celt cavs east teams it's quite likely to change tho).

Lastly would celtics feel there is enough room for improvement to swing for a brown for trae deal(trae is better and more valuable but the chemistry and fit aspect makes it rather dicey tbh).

The wild west

The west on the other hand has been hit by surprise injuries and a bunch of preseason favourites looking lethargic. This has led to 3relatively inexperienced teams positioned top 3 followed by a 4-11 Seperated by only 3.5 games. This coupled with the fact that bunch of the 4-11 teams are pretty much veteran/older teams could mean that it's very much possible some of these teams (largely clips gsw suns etc) might look to pivot hard and start selling/retooling depending on how the season goes.

Sidenote: the ad trade might go down as one of the greatest win win trade if pels go on to deliver on their potential and build a mini dynasty of sorts which along with the Lakers chip would make this deal a ridiculously great deal for both side

Sidenote 2: wolves may honestly be one of the shittiest teams wrt trades as shown by then being fleeced big time by both gsw and jazz in a span of 3 yrs😭
