A pile of old yarn and packaging in a knitting workshop in the UK

I’ve opened a small, cozy shop selling yarn and handmade sweaters in Glasgow’s West End (UK). After just a couple of months of operating out of a back room, a mountain of cardboard spools, yarn scraps, and plastic bags from the yarn has piled up. There’s a desperate shortage of space, and in the UK, you’re not allowed to throw business waste into regular street bins—you’ll get fined immediately. For those of you in the craft business, how do you handle disposing of this kind of packaging without paying extra?
