Since it's a all-star weeknd and it's really sucks seeing Dunk Contest this year like it was really bad. Keshad Johnson won and congratulations to him but there's alot of problem i seen during this contest which can be a factor to drop the valuation of Dunk Contest in upcoming years.

So here are some of my ideas to solve the Dunk Contest and be a intresting thing so people can draw thier attention on it

Invite better dunkers:

Focus on bringing in elite in-game dunkers and well-known high-flyers instead of relying mostly on volunteers. Players with reputations for poster dunks and highlight plays naturally generate more excitement and fan interest. I get player not interested over Dunk Contest but smtv like increasing the winning price be a play to get a better dunker

Improve the judging system:

Incorporate a mix of fan voting and panel judging to create a more balanced and transparent scoring system. This could reduce controversy and make results feel less predictable.

Add bigger incentives:

Increase prize money, include charity donations in the winner’s name, or offer exclusive All-Star benefits. Stronger incentives would motivate players to take the competition more seriously.

Shorten the format:

Limit missed attempts, enforce stricter time rules, and speed up transitions between rounds. A faster pace would keep the audience engaged and maintain energy throughout the event.

Introduce themed rounds:

Create unique concepts such as rookies versus veterans, country versus country, or NBA players competing against professional dunk specialists. Fresh themes can add variety and competitive storytelling.

Reward creativity more:

Offer bonus scoring for originality, innovation, and never before seen dunk styles. Encouraging creativity would help prevent repeated or slightly modified dunks and make the NBA Slam Dunk Contest feel more exciting.
