NBA Cup knockout rounds begin!
Bucks vs Magic. The Bucks beat the Magic in a close game. Orlando put up a good fight even without Franz and Paolo. And for the Bucks, what a comeback from them on the season. Giannis hitting 37 points in the game to help the Bucks advance to Vegas.
Thunder vs Magic. Thunder beat the Mavericks after a close first half. The Thunder had an impressive second half with SGA getting 39 points on the game. As for the Mavs, they couldn't find a rhythm and eventually lost. No-one was a standout performer for them.
Hawks beat the Knicks in MSG. Great day for the Hawks away at MSG. Trae had a very solid performance along with De'Andre Hunter who were some of the factors to help the Hawks advance to the Semis to play the Bucks. As for the Knicks, losing a game you most definitely should've won at home isn't great.
Rockets advance over the Warriors. In a very close and low scoring game, the Rockets came out on top of Golden State. 2 clutch free throws from Jalen Green gives the Rockets a pass to play the Thunder in the Confrence Finals. Sengun had a solid game to help. Warriors, you did good, but not good enough. To be fair that foul at the end was an atrocious call by the Ref as that was never a foul. But it's not a Game 7. It's only the NBA Cup, who actually cares about the NBA Cup?
Elsewhere in the NBA
The Wizards finally win another game. No win November is gone! Their first win since NBA week in Review #2 which was about a month ago. Poole had a great game against the Nuggets which helped out for a surprise win over the Nuggets.
Jokic's insane week. 108 points in 24 hours sums it up. He has put up astonishing numbers this entire season. Top 2 in Points, Rebounds and Assists this season from every player. Averaging a Triple Double! Could he be the 3rd player to Average a Triple Double for the entire season and put his name alongside Oscar Robertson and Russell Westbrook. His 4th MVP has to be coming to him, unless something crazy happens, which I don't see happening. His motivation is probably thinking about going home, and if he plays well, he goes home.
If there's anything I missed please tell me and I might add it aswell
