Honestly, I don't know how much a Ben Simmons trade would help them at this point. They would have to match salaries in a trade, and Daryl Morey has already said that he isn't getting bought out. Simmons, Harris, and Danny Green are on multi-year contracts that are enormous overpays. I see why they want to include Tobias in the trade too so that they can actually do something with their roster, but nobody wants BOTH contracts for sure, it they do not want just one of them.
