Kobe is overrated idc

Like bro I’m not saying Kobe wasn’t fucking good 😭 he was INSANE at basketball.

But the whole “Mamba Mentality” shit is so fucking overrated.

Half the time people are literally praising him for being an asshole 💀 like being toxic, arrogant and obsessed with yourself somehow became “Mamba Mentality” just because it was Kobe.

And let’s be real, Kobe got WAY more overrated after he died. I’m sorry but it’s true. I genuinely don’t think he’s automatically better than Tim Duncan, and honestly I wouldn’t even have a problem saying he’s not top 10 all time.

And the craziest part is how nobody wants to talk about the 2003 Colorado case. Like bro??? Everyone talks about his “legacy” and how he was such an amazing human being, but somehow that part of his story just disappears from the conversation.

And Shaq is one of the biggest examples of this shit too 😭 people act like the Kobe/Shaq era was just some wholesome basketball story when those two literally hated each other for years.

Kobe was a fucking beast on the court. Nobody is denying that.

But being a basketball legend ≠ being a great person.

And being dead doesn’t suddenly make every shitty thing you did “inspiring.”

The Mamba Mentality might be the most over-romanticized shit in sports.
