Well one thing for certain the Kings are playing a much deeper strategy than they have been the past several years. Last year they traded a 2nd round pick to the Cavaliers for an overseas prospect named Sasha Vezenkov. Vezenkov who was already 1st team Euroleague stepped his game up even further and became Euroleague MVP this past year.
27 Years Old Vezenkov is listed at small forward , though he's really more of a combo guy, personally from what I've seen he looks like a stretch 4 at the NBA level with the footspeed to guard outside and size to handle post up players inside. He shot 38% from deep and 88% from the charity stripe over 40 league games last year, 17ppg with a block and a steal per game as well.
Ironically the player he most "looks like" to me in terms of skill set is a more mature Keegan Murray. Not someone who simply excels at one aspect of the game that you can call out but someone who is exceptionally well rounded at multiple aspects of the game. The Kings have made Vezenekov an offer in the 9-10 million dollar range, given that he's earning about 2 million this season in Euroleague he could soon be gracing the California coast and NBA Hardwoods.
