Probably thinking wayyyyy too out of touch here but the reason people came was for trades. Heck it’s why I came and saw Spurs doing a mock and joined. But with the aprons and the complexity of trades financially (plus not being added here really), the trade machine is pretty tough to navigate especially for casuals. ESPN made a good one, as well did Spotrac. Idk, the financial stuff sort of makes it annoying to make trades too. Also, the complexity of trades has ruined the value. It’s hard to gauge the value of Giannis or LBJ, given different packages we’ve seen for Gobert and Bridges. Finally, I think all the guys we’ve been waiting on for years and even a decade to ask out, are gone. All the candidates that’ve been cycling year in and year out are gone. Bradley Beal, Vuc, KD, etc. Some of those guys had been rumored in deals for years, but now a player asks out in a few months, killing the hype of a trade completely
