Hey my beautiful lovely people on fanspo, just thought id talk a bit, because why not?
As should be the case with most of us (excluding like Corey lol) the school year is about to begin. For me in particular, I am about to enter my freshmen year of high school. I would hope that I am one of the younger users on this site because genuinely what are you doing if youre still learning your abcs and talking to college students, but for anyone younger than me, heres some words of advice. Enjoy life, its so much better than we give it credit for, even if it doesnt seem like it.
Anywho, back to me, the soon to be freshmen. It’s kinda rough, to be honest. In fact, school is the reason I decided to get back on Fanspo. Kinda crazy, I know, but let me explain. Im going to a private school for high school, not a public one. This meant that I had to move houses to one a lot closer to my new HS, and more importantly, this meant I would no longer see my friends that I had spent the last half of my life with. Not great heheheh. This private school is also obviously quite small, and also it lacks quite a bit in terms of Asians. Sounds stupid, but I live in freaking California, I’m used to there being more of my kind around y’know? Fanspo was my way of hanging with people who liked the same things I liked, and who would continue to talk with me even as the school year inevitably starts. To that, thank you. I came here to talk about basketball and share my opinions on the draft, but somehow along the way I now have a real community that I talk to every day about trivial and mostly pointless things. (Side note: there was this girl I was mad crushing on and idk but I feel like she liked me back maybe I was delusional cuz I really was overthinking everything with her but like when I dipped for a this new hs I didnt get any of her contact infol and this has been bugging me this entire summer like am I ever gonna see her again :(((( I don’t think so lolollol look how long im ranting about her gang I am such a simp)
Yup, theres a little lore for you guys, enjoy. I dont know what im doing with my life. Advice would be much appreciated. Is freshmen year hard? I’ve been dreading it for a while now. Did you even read the whole thing? Thats crazy, why are you listening to a guy talk about school on a sport site?
