He starts crying, started calling me a bxtch, but it was fine. I knocked down the first free throw to give us the lead. The second one did a loop de loop around the rim and ultimately rimmed out. But with 8 seconds left, I got us the lead. I was going to celebrate. Friends in the crowd, I just hit a PLAYOFF GAME WINNER AT HOME. But then,

We got the game winning steal. The refs ended up calling foul. Unreal. But there’s still hope. They toss it in to their shooter, and he banks in a three at the buzzer. I fell to my knees and I was about to cry when coach screamed at us to get into handshake lines. That’s when the trash talking big man flips off my friends and the parents in the home crowd, starts jawing and cussing out grown adults and almost starting a brawl. Thankfully it is all on video but it was a horrific scene. I cried for hours and now I’m here. 20 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists weren’t enough.
