While The case can be made that the 1992 dream team had the five best players on planet Earth in the same At the same time, the same cannot be said of the 2024 dream team. With that being said, The lineup was damn near unstoppable in either case. With the 92 Team beating other teams by a like 50 points, The 2024 team won against stiffer competition. So who do you got in this scenario? (Assume peak prime for arguments sake)

Well personally I think LeBron is only a little bit better than magic, where mj is significantly better than curry (although curry could still score obviously). Bird will give and take with KD. Barkley vs AD is interesting with Barkley performing elitely in 92, but AD camping in the lane is a problem. Embiid is a better player than Robinson but Robinson is no joke.

Upon evaluation it’s hard to pick against 2024 starting 5 but the depth of the 92 dream team is beyond comparison. White, Halliburton, adebayo, and holiday, while good, are not on the same playing field. Tatum, booker, and Edwards are solid options in the likely 8 man rotation for such a series.

Compare this to Malone, pippen, Ewing, drexler, Stockton with Mullen and laetner on the back burner and quickly it becomes 10 on 8 realistically. Drexler v Edwards, pippen v Tatum, and Malone/stockton/ewing vs booker is where the case gets closed for me. I got 92 by a small margin. Thoughts?
