But this is only to tie, so if we add 1 more it becomes 20.2 pts which is definitely doable. So 38,387 (Kareem's total) - 36,929 (Lebron becoming 2nd as of the start of next season) gets us 1458. Now, Lebron said he's "on the other side of the hill" in his career so we can't guarantee he plays the 2024 year. Bronny will be in college by 2024 and most likely a one-&-done (considering they don't take out the 1-&-done rule). If they were to though, Lebron could be teaming up with Bronny in 2024 which would be a opportunity that he has to take for how rare it is. Anyways, 1458 + 1 (to beat Kareem) is 1459/82 is equaled to 17.79 pts. Once again, say Lebron plays 60 games? That gives him a 24.31 average and I think I can confirm that Lebron beats Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in scoring sometime in May of 2023 or at the beginning of the 2024 season.
