Wow. I know it’s been weeks, but I just can’t unforget the shock on my face reading abt Russell Westbrook retiring. It feels so different and wrong. I have been watching Westbrook play my entire life, and got drafted before I existed irl. I just can’t belive he is actually gone.

Barely any of us have seen the NBA without Westbrook. Maybe even none of us. Just so you understand, he was drafted before the iPhone existed, won his MVP before Kyle Kuzma, Jayson Tatum, and Donovan mitchell got drafted, got an All-NBA team before Ben Simmons and Jaylen Brown were in the league. Way before Fanspo existed, way before self-driving cars, and way before most users that have Fanspo were born.

It’ll feel so wrong. I have never seen Russ never in the NBA. And maybe, neither have you. But we can say one thing for certain. We will all miss Russ.
