They've seen a gap and decided to shoot for it, all round they seem well balanced and have the checklist for a solid contender. Bought in and made the push to make the most of Young. Do I think they are a true contender... Kind of, in the East yeah

The moves make sense and they have definitely improved, I honestly like the NAW move as much as I do the Porzingis move. Porzingis is among the players who seem to be a ticking time bomb and the rest of the Hawks centre depth isn't to the standard i'd like for a proper push. If he's healthy come playoff time though that spacing is beyond valuable.

That being said though as much as the trade's made up the hype i'm more excited to see the continuation of Dyson and Jalen Johnson. They make perfect support players for Trae to try to get the most out of his new team.

This potentially is the best team Trae has had and unfortunately still i'm not 100% sold it is enough to get past who I think will be the top teams. He likely to have a all career year and get the respect and return as an all star.

Player to watch is Dyson Daniels (DPOY/Allstar) Jalen Johnson has had more off season hype than the guy who just led the league in steals by a mile and without question should've had DPOY. I hope with Atlanta performing better than last year he will have a similar year and get more respect. I think if Atlanta want to make a deep playoff push his role in covering for Traes defence in the back court will be the key.
