MIAMI: DeRozan may or may not start in this scenario, they need shot creators in some shape or form. His spacing would be questionable for Miami, but his impact scoring wise would be felt very strongly. Beal might be a better fit. At least DeRozan would be competing for a chip, but it unlikely they stack up against top contenders like the Raptors, 76ers or Knicks.
MINNESOTA: He would slide in nicely at the 3 spot. Having Lamelo, Not sure if there's enough basketball to go around for someone like Demar, but he would take pressure off of Ant to operate, and would be an additional scoring threat on a team that already has melo and ant allowing with mcdaniels.
TORONTO: Self explanatory, he would likely be the 6th man off the bench handing out buckets (the raptors bench is kinda depleted), but it would be a homecoming and a legitimate chance to win a chip.
DETROIT: Detroit could legitimately use him here, I know people cry about spacing problems, but they need a secondary scoring threat outside of Cade and kinda Duren. With Derozan as a secondary ball handler, this may allow Cade to operate more on the perimeter which would inherently increase volume 3s.
GOLDEN STATE: Welcome to the UNCtion, I mean outside of Curry the socring capability of this team is a bit troublesome. Draymond, KP, Podz, Yax, it doesn't look pretty. Demar could immediately come in and show impact through his scoring capabilities. Not a good shot at a chip tho.
