I've tried to make some wacky Top 25 polls, and one worked... until it didn't. The one where teams would switch places after an upset in the Top 25 was a hit at first, but it got hard to keep up with and got to the point where it would take me a long time to try and update it now. So, with the College Basketball season underway, I'm going to try something new and hope it sticks. I'm going to create a Top 25 poll, but it is determined by a teams record. The higher win percentage you have, the more likely you have a chance to be ranked here. Let's say the season end with let's go with McNeese having a .833 win percentage and Duke having .800 (this is a random scenario, no clue if this would even work), This Top 25 would have McNeese as #1 in the country, Duke #2, and so on so forth. If there are 2 or more teams tied, I will take their ranking in that week's AP Poll, the amount of wins, or which team I think is better. Here is the first addition of this new Top 25, and it will be updated weekly and on Monday's, like the real life AP Poll.
