Want to keep this a relatively short post but these are my three winners and losers just to keep a track on my opinions!
Winners:
Suns - Got two of my top 10 in the draft as well as the best shooter in the class. Great picks in my eyes and had a great draft night with the Mark Williams trade combined!
Magic - With 32 and 25 they got one of my lottery prospects and a top 20 prospect in Penda and Jase. Jase works so well in the backcourt being able to play with Suggs and Black and Penda is the ultimate connective mover on offence and an amazing wing stopper.
Hawks - Flipped both their draft picks picks an turned it into Porzingis, Newell and that juiced 2026 Bucks-Pels most favourable. Newell was 17 on my board so getting him at 23 was again great value and an amazing fit as they still needed front court depth.
Losers:
Trailblazers - Yang was way too early in the draft for the upside and project, just too far off and I refuse to believe he would have been off the board soon and they could have traded further back. That a 2 year project at the minimum to me but hey maybe this trust in him will help him develop.
Nets - Its just too much, 5 rookies and 5 first round picks is too much talent, 4 freshman aged prospects is too Young, 4 ball handling prospects and 3 guards is also a bad move. I also think in most of their picks there was better on the board for sure.
Joint for Toronto and Pelicans: Just made draft picks which confused me with bas fits in my opinion, pens is probably worse due to the trade but I do like fears as a pick and prospect and it generally made a little more sense. I really wanted to just bring up how much I dislike the CMB fit here so.
