Sorry, that was kinda dumb lol. Anywho, I remember mentioning that I had started this fun little project for Fanspo before I got pneumonia. Well, that isn’t finished, because I didn’t feel like doing anything while I was sick, and I lost interest after I got better. For now, that’ll be in the archives, and maybe I’ll pull it up next offseason or when the season gets slow.
Now, since I don’t have anything else planned other than “yay, I’m active again (hopefully)”, I’ll just talk about few highlights from my experience at summer league this year (every year is different, I go every year).
Every year I like to create a list of players who I watch live that I feel are standing out to me. I try to keep it to niche players, and if their box scores sucked for their particular game I watched, oh well, I thought they looked good in person so you can’t change my mind now. Here’s this year’s list: Seth Trimble, Chaney Johnson, Jaylin Sellers, Zuby Ejiofor, Tyler Nickel. I also had Morez who I only added because he stood out SO MUCH. Rest of the lottery I didn’t put down cuz like we know they’re good already so why bother.
I used to be star struck early on in my first year or two of going, but now I’m used to being around NBA players, so I don’t really ask for photos and autographs anymore. That being said, I saw Kings legend Dylan Cardwell who I couldn’t resist getting a photo with, and also Jalen Johnson was right next to me while I was waiting for a ride, so might as well. And then Dad got one with Baron Davis
I saw Bam in the elevator the night before he punched the sh*t out of Tyler Herro. Man, what a missed opportunity.
Food is great in Vegas, as always. Not basketball related, but thought I’d share nonetheless.
Lol for anyone into Pokemon VGC, I also completed in the Grand Champions Festival Encore while I was at Vegas. Wow, I just remembered that, I woke up way too early that, geez.
Yeah, that’s what’s been up with me. You can notice that I didn’t include any Laker summer league players there. Yeah, that’s a whole separate thing we gotta cover and it needs it’ own special post. This year’s summer league team was so good, and we WOULD be in the finals if not for the refs. I’m probably gonna change my pfp into Chris Mañon, I love that guy with my heart and soul.
