Eastern Conference Edition
Boston Celtics - Derrick White
I know everyone is wanting the spicy answer with Jaylen Brown, but the only way I can see JB being traded is if Giannis is a Celtic and the more that time passes, it seems like Giannis will be in Miami. The Celtics do need to shake things up this offseason, and White looks to be on the decline as he struggled especially in the playoffs last season.
Brooklyn Nets - Nic Claxton
To me Claxton is still really intriguing. He just turned 27 in April and just two years ago was one of the premier shot blockers in the league. I still think he could be on that level, but might’ve lost some motivation playing for the lowly Nets the last couple of seasons. I could see a playoff contender making the move for Clax and him being a key contributor to the defensive side of the court.
New York Knicks - No One
The Knicks are up 2-0 in the Finals as I’m typing this, they don’t need to move off anyone.
Philadelphia 76ers - Paul George
I do believe the Paul George era in Philly is over. Year 2 was a lot better than year 1, but that’s not saying much. Philly will dump his contract off for depth and he may be bought out and become a free agent. A return to Indy maybe for PG13??? I doubt it.
Toronto Raptors - Gradey Dick
Gradey Dick has been only good for a meme. Other than that he’s kinda ass. He can’t finish at the rim. His jumper isn’t great, and he’s kind of fallen out of Toronto’s rotation. He should be considered lucky to be traded, because he could just end up being released.
Chicago Bulls - Tre Jones
Jones is just like his older brother Tyus and I do think a contender will take a low risk high reward swing on trading for the Bulls PG to be their backup and run the second unit.
Cleveland Cavaliers - Jarrett Allen
LeBron is coming home. I am predicting LeBron’s third and final return to Cleveland results in Jarrett Allen getting packed back to LA for LeBron in a sign-and-trade.
Detroit Pistons - Duncan Robinson
If the Pistons want someone that will help Cade, Robinson’s contract will need to be involved. Plain and simple. However, losing that level of shooting will hurt Detroit.
Indiana Pacers - Jarace Walker
Indy has a log jam at the PF position, and unfortunately think Walker is the odd man out. Siakam is their number 2 so they won’t move him, and Toppin is their number backup and he has a ton of chemistry with Hali so I don’t think they’ll move off him.
Milwaukee Bucks - Giannis Antetokounmpo
I swear if Giannis isn’t traded im going drop a dumbbell on my foot if he isn’t traded in the offseason. It’s a joke at this point.
Atlanta Hawks - Zaccharie Risacher
This dude is a bum. He will be traded for a 2nd round pick. Or it might just be for Cash Considerations.
Charlotte Hornets - Tidjane Salaun
Salaun doesn’t fit this team. He doesn’t really fit in the league to be honest and is better set for the Euro league.
Miami Heat - Tyler Herro
Miami CANNOT run it back with this same team and expect different results. They are a lot more likely to trade Herro than they are to trade Bam, and I think Herro being their backup centerpiece Giannis gets it done.
Orlando Magic - Jalen Suggs
As weird as this sounds, I think Orlando needs to move off Suggs, NOW. Even after trading for Desmond Bane they need shooting, and they need a playmaker. Suggs does provide defense, but doesn’t really do much else. His playmaking hasn’t translated to be what we thought it was going to be.
Washington Wizards - Anthony Davis
AD has made it clear he wants to be on a contender. Give him his wish. Washington won’t be that next year and are a few years away from being a few years away. Getting the number 1 pick does help them.
