Miami swaps a first with OKC to unlock their picks to send them to Milwaukee. OKC needs picks beyond 2028 and here they are sending out a late Denver pick. Miami also includes a second as a seeetener.

With this move Milwaukee can start a decent young starting lineup with Rollins, Herro, Jaquez, Jovic and Ware. These 4 young guys and the three FRP (two of these will probably after Giannis prime in 2030 and 2032 which could be very valuable) is probably the best deal they can get considering the concern teams have with Giannis injury history. Also there are not many teams Giannis would want to go (MIA and NY seem to be the only two possible options).

Miami lands the super star they’ve been desperately chasing, they also sign CP3 as a back up PG. Portis could play as a back up C, but ideally Miami signs another FA.

A team of Davion, Powell, Wiggins, Giannis and Bam can be the best team in the east, and Miami has enough depth (even after the trade) to compete for the chip
