Dillon Brooks provides much needed perimeter defense to this Cavs team. He's also a solid corner shooter and plays with heart. The Cavs weakest position has been at the 3 for a while now, and Brooks is a perfect complimentary piece to this squad.

Rockets do this because they get two tradable players and a valuable pick for the future. It's a bit unlikely that the Cavs will be really good in 2031 and the Cavs with capitalize on a potential lottery pick.
