With Giannis leaving, Milwaukee is is need of a true No1, Zion is an interesting buy low candidate as the bucks have the expiring contracts to provide NOLA with cap flexibility and a core of players that suit Zion perfectly. Having Turner and Ware as spacing bigs who protect the rim fits perfectly with Zion in the frontcourt. Milwaukee's young backcourt also provide Zion with perfect synergy with defence, off ball scoring and perimeter creation.

The package of players and picks would likely change if a Herro trade happens as the bucks would potentially give up assets from that trade instead but I think Kuzma is a lock to be in this deal with him also being a forward and on a large expiring.

For NOLA, getting off of Zion's contract provides cap flexibility, which a team in their position nears desperately. The Zion-Queen partnership has proven not to work and so by trading Zion for Flexibility and draft assets, NOLA prioritises the future with Fears and Queen at the center of it. If the pels are not competitive next year, I could easily see them as sellers at the deadline with Zion as a prime trade candidate.

Draft compensation could change but a 2 swaps feels about right, as mentioned before, if a Herro trade happens, the assets could change and a frp would likely be in the deal.
