Pros and Cons

-Celtics- Pros- Celtics get younger. They get a better backup big, basically a more healthy Time Lord in Kessler. You can now put Collins into the 4-5 spot. You also get back a scoring piece that still has time to improve in Clarkson. Your lineup would be White-Brown-Tatum-Collins-Porzingis with Clarkson and Kessler off the bench. You trade Jrue due to his down year projecting that he will continue to decline. Cons- You probably lose team chemistry. If there are two players the Celtics fanbase wouldn't want to give up, it's Payton and Al, But as we seen before (by trading Smart), it can end up helping you in the long run. You also give up three seconds in this deal as well.

-Jazz- Pros- You obviously do this for Pritchard and the picks. The guard spot for the Jazz has been tricky this year, and now you have someone that might can solidify themself as your starting PG. You get two older players in Al in Jrue. You either wait till they retire or try to bribe a desperate contender to take one of them. Cons- You are giving up really big pieces, so if you were being bad just to retool in the off-season, this would take away most of your top tradable contracts.
