Celts get Nesmith back, score Buzelis, add Missi for some depth down low, with Wiseman sprinkled on top. Yes, we walk away from this the big winners just looking at the talent... But the Celtics give up some draft picks that I didn't really wanna dig into the purse to pull out right now. I just had to, for Buzelis.
Bulls do something crazy... but there's actually a valid reason for it. The return is right. Anfernee hits the 3 at + .400
Mathurin has so much upside. Together with what TJ Mcconnell can provide instantly, plus a pick, they make up what they'd be missing with Buzelis, give Noa Essengue room to shine the way Buzelis did last year, and altogether they could actually have a decent young core... TJ, Anfernee, Mathurin, Noa Essengue / Jarace Walker, Vuc-
Pacers get Sabonis & picks & lowkey tank, all they have to do is sit Sabonis, save everyone til Hali gets back. If they could add Boozer (or Dybantsa), their lineup would look like Hali, Obi, Siakam, Boozer, Sabonis. If it's Boozer, that might change the way we look at the game at the highest lvl forever if they win. Teams might realize they should say screw position for the most part, and just draft for talent. You'd think having one center in Sabonis, three PF's in Siakam, Obi, and Boozer, and a point guard would be a problem, but it honestly wouldn't be, because the PG would be Hali, and the rest are incredible talents that do what they do better than just about anyone else on the planet, so they might just be a bigger problem for the other teams that have no choice but to play their game.
Kings get Nemby, Trey Murphy III... that's some serious return for Sabonis. With Jalen Smith to play center and fill in till they can draft someone decent to take Sabonis shoes, that's not a bad replacement. There's not that many good centers in the league right now, you can't expect a fair one in return for one of the best centers in the league. Gunna have to make up the value in other ways, like this.
New Orleans gets some solid players that could make up a decent core in exchange for their young talent. As much as people on this site like to act like they hold no value because they're not a star player, Huerter, Okoro, Huff are decent NBA-ready players. If they put the right pieces around them, they could be dangerous.
