Lakers need youth, defense and picks because they have none.

Magic need shooters and offense. This is a low risk trade for both teams. Magic might be hesitant to give up early on Black but they have enough defense without him, they need shooters. All 3 players they receive are shooters, even if two just had bad years. Obviously Reeves is the big need for them.

Lakers need a cheap guy like Goga, i don't see them getting a better center without giving up whatever picks they have left. In this trade the Magic send a pick or two to the Lakers! And they get two defense wings which is what they need besides size.
