WHY EACH TEAM WILL DO THIS TRADE:
Spurs: due to their timeline being sped up by the generational emergence of Wemby, management decides to cash in some of their chips and land the best player still available in the market (Markannen) to pair with Vic and add (Clarkson + Kessler) onto their already solid additions of veterans and complimentary pieces this off-season. This tremendously improves San Antonio on the short term and still maintain flexibility in the long run.
Jazz: Danny Ainge flips Markkannen and extract the most from this trade via mulitple first rounders (4 first rounders and 2 seconds) and absorbing the contract of Lavine and Z. Collins which can later on be traded as well (assuming they can improve both player's value by showcasing them in the next couple of seasons).
Nuggets: since the Nuggets have limited options to make significant improvements without coming close to the 2nd Apron, they move one of their important rotational pieces in MPJ to replace with solid overall depth in bringing back Bruce Brown & Torrey Craig (both whom are easier plug and play in Mike Malone's system as alumnis of previous Nuggets iterations). They also bring in much needed backcourt defense in Jevon Carter and Davion Mitchell.
Bulls: Chicago finally get off Lavine (after multiple seasons of trying to move on from him) and bring in a young up-and-coming Keldon Johnson who can thrive in a new situation with a more stable and much clearer opportunity for starter minutes.
Raptors: adding more shooting and a winning experience in Porter Jr. to compliment the all-around skills of Scottie Barnes can only mean good things for GM Masai Ujiri and The 6. Flipping Bruce Brown for a more fitting piece with a relatively manageable contract and room to grow both offesively and defesively might be a flyer that the Raps are willing to take. They also get Blake Wesley from the Spurs as a throw-in and can serve for back-up minutes behind Immanuel Quickley.
