Warriors are actively looking to ship off Jonathan Kuminga to the Kings and just need a third team to take the contract of Malik Monk.

It works out perfectly because the Mavericks have to move off a center which is either Anthony Davis, Derick Lively, or Daniel Gafford and the most obvious choice is Daniel Gafford.

This also works out perfectly because the missing hole in the Warriors team is their true Center. Now they have a high flying rim protector in Daniel Gafford who can lock down the paint.

Mavericks also have a Kyrie Irving who is injured for basically the whole season and Malik Monk is more than suitable to help fill that hole.
