Dont fret bulls fans, I know Ayo is by far the best asset in this deal and I'd bet you think he's worth more than this package, but I think that him being in a contract year really restricts his trade value.

Bulls:

• with both Coby and Giddy back, this team has been really solid, but are lacking that 1A super star type player. I dont think this trade get them there, but the added draft captial for two players who might walk this offseason I think is a fair deal. A post bron FRP (even if the lakers always get some voodoo BS free agent magic) is not a bad asset to have. Klay is trash right now but I think he would find himself in a reduced bench role like what the bulls could offer from their current rotation.

Mavs:

• Get an obvious and desperate guard upgrade in an attempt to stave off their floundering season. Ayo would be a great guard to start next to D'Lo or Kyrie when he gets back. I frankly think he is a perfect fit for this team and could see the Mavs offering additional swaps to make this deal happen. As I said before, the linch pin of this deal is the fact that Ayo is in the last year of his deal and looses his Bird rights if traded right now (I believe). Terry has not been bad, but I feel like he has not been at all what he is cracked up to be. In this deal, he is salary filler to me, but I am not a bulls fan so if someone who has seen more of him play has a stronger opinion on his play, lmk.
