Raptors get Oladipo, a 2-way wing with high upside that perfectly fits into their culture and system, and can be utilized great under Nurse.

Pacers get FVV, whose coming off a break-out season scoring 18ppg, and Terence Davis, a fan-favorite whose had great stretches throughout the season, as well as been a great shooter, with two second rounders to top it off.

Raptors do this trade because: 1) Oladipo is a better player than Freddie (Assuming he can reach to similar heights he was pre-injury). 2) FVV's contract will greatly hinder any offseason plans they had for the 2021 FA. Oladipo expires at the end of next season, which means they can assess the situation to re-sign him/ sign and trade him depending on their plans. 3) Terence Davis has shown great upside, but ultimately you keep other pieces like OG and Powell, and Oladipo's upside makes it worth it.

Pacers do this trade because: 1) FVV is a great fit in Indiana's system, can shoot lights out and can play alongside Brogdon for a great offense. 2) Terence Davis has shown legitimate promise this season, and Indiana can nurture him like they initially did with Oladipo to another level (+ hes on a cheap contract).

What are your thoughts? I know FVV and Terence Davis are fan-favorites, but I think this makes sense for both sides. Leave your comments/ thoughts !
