Magic offseason idea: Stick To The Format

SUCCESS

Magic aren't a very fluid team, like I mean they dont pass the ball as often as other teams, and this idea makes them stick to that way-Claxton isnt a playmaker at all (not what Claxton is supposed to do) and Cam Thomas, well he only knows one thing and Its buckets.

Why Nets do this:

They get a lot of Picks for both players and they are rebuilding so they will want that.

Why Magic do this:

Obviously they cant just be a team with no playmaking so they will sign CP3 to be a guy that can control the game off the bench and he can replace someone on the starting lineup with the fact that both Cam Thomas and Jalen Suggs had gotten season-ending injurys this season.

Something that will be brought up with Cam Thomas is his usage and efficency, now, I thought Cam Thomas had bad efficency but when I checked he had really good efficency considering the amount of shots he had.

And obviously Cam Thomas will have less usage in Orlando so if he moves to Orlando expect a less volumed(thus less ppg), more efficent season.

Now, Cam's defence isnt good, but he will be next to lengthy defenders, a nice guard with nice defence, and a really good rim protector, so I think they would be fine.

After this trade, I think Magic would need to shop WCJ, or if they want him to primerily play PF they want to but I dont like that.

New Magic Lineups:

PG-Jalen Suggs

SG-Cam Thomas

SF-Franz Wagner

PF-Paolo

C-Nic Claxton

G2-Anthony Black

G2-Chris Paul

SF2-Tristan Da Silva

PF2-Wendell Carter Jr

C2-Goga Bitadze

PG3-Cory Joeseph

SG3-Denver first round pick

SF3-Caleb Houstan

PF3-Magic second round pick

C3-Magic firts round pick

What do you think of this? Is this a good fit or a bad fit? Overpay or underpay?
