Wizards get Young as a box office draw while giving up an expiring McCollum, and a slightly negative long term asset in Kispert. Young gives the Wizards a high end (if flawed) player who can enhance their offense,
Hawks have found a weak trade market for Young, They are getting off of him (who has been a bad fit and caused losing for this version of their team) for 30M in cap savings next year once McCollum comes off of the books, plus a low end relatively inexpensive back of the rotation SF in Kispert.
I welcome comments, but please no comments without supporting reasoning (e.g. "Hawks pass".' Don't be a hater. If you’re going to say something, make it meaningful or don't bother).
