Minnesota - it’s clear they need a PG upgrade, and Coby White is both a huge upgrade and a great fit. plays very well offball so he won’t get in the way of Ant. contract is cheap enough to where Minnesota doesn’t need to give up Randle, Gobert, or Reid. the challenge will be resigning him next season while staying under the 2nd apron.
Celtics - it’s been obvious that Simons isn’t the best fit, and it’s also obvious that Boston needs to reset the clock on the repeater tax in a year without Tatum. that accomplishes just that, getting under the tax while getting a guy in Divencenzo who fits well and is under a great contract through next season.
Bulls - interesting one here as they are getting a return that is both future and present based. Dillingham is worth a shot as a former lotto pick, and a distant pick swap never hurts. Anfernee Simons is an interesting grab here as he is very similar to Coby White, yet fits better next to Giddey and shouldn’t cost much to resign if they chose to.
Nets - pretty straight forward, eat 6.8 million for a free distant 2nd round pick. easy win for them. would have to waive a player, likely Tyrese Martin or Jalen Wilson to finalize this.
