The Grizzlies get the veteran star with massive postseason experience that they desperately need. Butler can guide this team through the playoffs and to the Finals. He instantly boosts their defense, and takes a massive amount of pressure off of Ja. They get JRich to replace some of the depth they are losing in this deal, but they also clear space for SPJ to have a full time role on this team, something he proved he deserved last year.
Ja - Bane - Butler - GG - JJJ
Rose - VW3 - JRich - LaRavia - Edey
The Heat get a haul of players who can help them win now with Bam, as well as picks that set them up for the future. This gives them the ability to avoid rebuilding and maintain their status as perennial contenders. Smart starts next to Herro in the back court, allowing Rozier to slide into a sixth man role that he is much better suited for at this point in his career. Clarke and Konchar add bench depth as well, and Aldama gets an opportunity at a starting spot along with Jovic.
Smart - Herro - Jaime - Aldama - Bam
Rozier - Konchar/Burks - Duncan - Jovic/Highsmith - Clarke/Love
