Markkanen has had a great start to the year and the Jazz may choose to hang onto him, but if they prefer to tank and rebuild, the Heat would be the ideal landing spot.

Markkanen can start at PF next to Bam, offering spacing and a 3rd scoring option alongside Butler & Herro. Robinson is redundant at this point so his loss is of little consequence. Strus, Martin, Vincent and Dedmon make a solid bench (with Oladipo a possibility down the road). They should be back as contenders.

Markkanen wasn't worth nearly this much 2 months ago. But the real question is whether the Jazz see him as a central part of their future. Would like to hear the take of some Jazz fans on that.
