Why the Clippers do it: This team really needs shooting after the loss of Norman Powell and Amir Coffey. Grayson has one of the highest 3pt% in the league and would fit perfectly into the Clippers' offense. Bogdan Bogdanovic is not very good and his role as a pure scorer is not needed on this team.

Why the Suns do it: The Suns should go into a full rebuild around Booker this season. Getting off of big contracts and gaining draft capital should be their main goal. This trade will make them worse, but the two 2nd round picks make it worth it. They could use those picks to trade up higher like they did in the 2025 Draft to get Rasheer Fleming and Koby Brea.
