I decided not to do the 1000th Siakam trade here or even the 500th Capela-to-the-Mavs deal (there are good ones - I almost did Hardaway/Holmes). Capela is solid but one dimensional for Atlanta. Quin Snyder would probably prefer a more flexible center.
Ayton fits the age cohort of the Trae-Dejounte-Hunter-Bey core better than Capela. He is a more athletic player, diverse scorer and better passer. They lose a little on rim defense but Onyeka can still provide that on the second unit if needed.
Suns get a better win-now fit with Capela. Rebounding is a big weakness of their current team and they don't need any more scoring from their lineup. Plus they start to replenish their picks here.
Did I fix the flaw? What would you do differently?
