TRADE EXPLANATION
Minesotta Timberwolves - Wolves goes all-in by grabbing Kevin Durant, pairing him with Anthony Edwards to create one of the league’s deadliest duos. Yes, they give up some of their core piece but you are exchanging that for a guy that is a borderline top 10-15 player and arguably the best scorer in the league if healthy. with this move, i believe that it could make the team way better and be a championship level contender. lastly, they signed some veterans who can give the team more depth(Melton and Prince) 2 solid 3&D players.
Phoenix Suns - – After a messy and underwhelming season. the Suns finally move off KD and focus on building around devin booker. so in return, they land a borderline all star Julius Randle who can replace some of the KD bits they lose. He had a very good postseason and one of the main reason wolves make the wcf. I feel like a Booker/Randle duo with a good depth can be a play in team maybe sneak a playoff spot if they really click together. additionally, with the remaining pieces they got from the KD trade(Donte, Conley and the #17 pick) they traded that for Nic Claxton. Nic Claxton brings them much-needed rim protection and defensive versatility something they lacked all year.
Brooklyn Nets - Nets got 3 Moveable contracts that they could trade afterwards especially Donte, Nets could get value off him. they also got a good pick that they can use for this very stacked draft class. Nice return for Claxton.
