Why OKC does it: Giddey needs to go. The vibes are bad and he needs a new start. They're overpaying here but it doesn't matter. They have way too many picks. They aren't going to use four 1sts in the upcoming draft. They need size so Chet isn't all by himself defending the bigs of the West.

Why Utah does it: Ainge is the only other GM that loves draft capital as much as Presti does. They get their pick back and another for next year. Giddey seems to match their desired style of play better than Kessler does and they're buying low on someone that is just 21 with a lot of upside.
