This is a series of trying to find the best value trades around the league for Eric Gordon and will follow a few rules:
Rockets are looking for value to help their rebuild. These trades will be made with that in mind.
The max number of teams involved will be 3. Il try to keep it to two in most cases but sometimes that just won't make sense.
I will try to use as many current "rumors" out there as I can. So anticipate Crowder being moved when the Suns come up.
Ill then rate the trade from each prospective and give a bit of thought around it. Let's go.
ROCKETS - B
Getting that 23' and the pick swap with Brooklyn (that may not convey) keeps this from being lower. Robinson's contract is not good. And this team already has a bunch of guards/wings that need rotation minutes already. This smells of Ryan Anderson all over again but worse.. at least Anderson was able to contribute for a couple years with Harden.
MIAMI - A-
Big win moving off that contract and getting a player with playoff experience and who can help win now in return. Adding a swap that likely won't convert to help bolster the package is a smart move, though im not sure EG fixes all of Miamis shortcomings (size and bigs) he will help i. The path to the playoffs.
