Why the Warriors do this:

Giannis and Steph instantly becomes the best two man game out West, and the role player core of Turner, Podz, Draymond, and Hield are all great fits with this duo. Golden State is a contender for the next 3 years.

Why the Bucks do this:

If Jimmy Butler is going to rehab his value, it will be in a place like Milwaukee where he has a decent group of role players once he comes back to carry to an unreasonably deep playoff run. In the meantime, Milwaukee also gets Moody and Kuminga to play alongside the current core of Rollins, KPJ, and Portis for a starting lineup.
