It’s not showing on here, but the Lakers pick would be heading to Minny as well:

Pels get their stretch big to put next to Zion. They accomplish it by sending out a guy they aren’t going to pay, a 4/5 on an expiring deal, and picks.

Minny saves $6M in this trade, adds depth, picks, and some future flexibility. This would probably mean they could let Slo-Mo walk if he wants too much money. LeVert, Strus, and Nance are all good depth pieces for that team, and LeVert/Nance give them $27M coming off their cap number next season. Whether or not they’re that motivated to cut future money, who knows.

Cavs acquire Ingram without giving up a core piece. The overall fit is very debatable and would certainly have future cap implications, but the Cavs would likely re-sign Okoro and still have the pick to use. That along with Wade, Merrill, CPJ and whoever could be added on exceptions or minimums.
