This makes sense for Boston if they decide to compete + get rid of Hauser contract without having to lose anything (matter of fact, draft capital and Highsmith sounds pretty legit). Makes sense for Nets getting more multi-year friendly contracts that would be useful if some team decides to make big changes to their franchise (also, they can easily get Hauser's value up). But the most important part is the Pelicans... using the part 1 as a start, they get a roster spot for a free agent that may come from the G or maybe a vet recently waived. Anyway, this is really good for them because they're putting things in order considering their future is Fears and Queen, and their "present" (check part 1) is Fox, Dejounte and TM3.
