Vucevic returns to Philadelphia and this is the equivalent of the Valanciunas trade. Vooch always plays his best when it's contract season so him coming off the bench would be huge for depth. I may be biased, but in Chicago the vooch and Drummond rotation worked out pretty well for us.
This trade will also do good for Embiid's mental/physical health. Embiid is taking the same route as Drose and is forcing himself to play instead of taking it easy because he believes he's letting the team and city down, which is admirable but mistaken.
Vucevic is also pretty durable and has played 70+ games every season in a bulls jersey with a career high 82 games for the bulls during the 22-23 season. This means the 76ers don't have to worry about Vucevic going down and for Embiid to take his time resting.
As for the picks because I know it looks like a lot for Vucevic. Bulls are getting a FRP for every season Paul is signed to them with that horrible contract of his (3). Bulls would also be in the 1st apron because of this trade. This isn't even mentioning the 76ers wont have to stress about Paul always getting injured anymore. The extra 1st and 2nd pick is the combined value of the bulls players.
Finally, the bulls players that the 76ers are getting back aren't going to ruin the flow of their offense because they are supporting pieces. Vucevic is a offensive center but he's not a ballhogger. Vucevic loves to look for the open man whether he's posting up or barely holding the ball for a second. Patrick is a 3&D player with potential to get better, bulls are just a bad developing team (hopefully 76ers are different). Dalen is just Dalen, he moves like Haliburton but doesn't actually succeeds on his attempts.
