Pels get off Herb’s long term salary which will be beneficial if he continued to have injury issues like he’s shown before. They get Josh Green who’s a good shooter on an expiring deal, a solid young asset in Terrance Shannon Jr, and 2 SRPS, certainly not enough for Herb here, but pointing out the upside for the Pels in this deal.
