I think this trade is kinda reasonable because of the spurs lack of wings player, and more of better veteran experience. I think P.J Washington and Kawhi is a good options to look at. 1. I know Kawhi and the spurs had a falling out but I think now is a better time for him to maybe win another ring for himself. They have a young core and cap space to sign him and it would be beneficial for him at the age he is now and a boost to his career if they win a championship. it also give the spur a better vet and a better player to create offense. So trading De'aaron Fox and a 2027 first round and 2028 second round picks to the clippers help them to get back on future picks they lost and get a more healthier guard than Garland. 2. P.J is a great role player for the spurs. He can defend better and shoot the ball better for this team. he has experience in the playoff and shown that he can perform well in games. Keldon as six man of the year could not perform well this whole playoff. so trading him to Dallas low their cap space and they'll get a second round to be able to draft a player since they are rebuilding and because they have no picks.
