Ayton to Indiana / Turner to LA?

SUCCESS

IND has been interested in Ayton in the past, and even signed him to an offer sheet as a RFA... Maybe, bringing the younger Ayton in on a 2-3 year deal with team options at a moderate price (10-15/year) instead of Turner helps them duck tax this year, reduces liability in the future, and frees up money for the Mathurin extension?

IND sign and trade Turner to Lakers, and send a 2nd to Nets in return for facilitating. They get cap room for Ayton, along with Knecht & Shake Milton's non-guaranteed contract for next year.

Nets slap an extra year on Sharpe's reported deal and send him to LA as a S&T. In return, they get Rui's expiring deal (which still has some trade value), 2 2nds and a 2nd swap.

Lakers turn the room from DFS declining his deal into Turner on a decent sized contract (4/110), which would help them compete this year and place him, Luka, and AR as a "Big Three" after LeBron. Also take Sharpe for 3 years/6mil per for backup / bench purposes. Out go Knecht, Shake, Rui, a 2030 swap, and their only available 2nd.
